Syrian Refugees In America
As of today, America has been progressively bringing in refugees from Syria, but at a very slow rate. The president made a promise to bring in 10,000 refugees who will than be provided aid. However, as the rate may seem right now, he has only made 1/5th of the promise although almost half the year is over. Some may say that this is weakening the administration's push to advance the cause of refugees while other countries are putting barriers to their entry. Its also a given among the U.S officials. They had a meeting in March that discussed the needs of Syrian Refugees. Close to about half a million needed permanent new homes away from the region, but it seems to be a long reach as the U.S is becoming haphazard.

This is an interesting article on a major controversial topic that is still an issue in the United States. I love that there has been progress since and even at a slow rate, it is better than none at all.
